What is Mushroom Stir Fry?

All you need to do is sauté baby mushrooms in a mixture of spices over medium heat, it’s as simple as that. It is sautéed with a honey and soy sauce glaze before being tossed in simple ginger, garlic, chili, and soy sauce.

Ingredients at a Glance

Mushrooms: I have used button mushrooms in this dish. You can also use some other mushrooms whichever is available near you.

Garlic powder: Garlic is the magical ingredient in every Chinese recipe. This dish is no exception.

Lemon: Lemon adds tanginess to the dish.

Soy sauce: The strong taste of soy sauce adds flavor to the stir fry.

Black Pepper: Black pepper is a very important ingredient in this recipe. So, do not miss it.

Himalayan pink salt: I have used Himalayan pink salt in this recipe to make it healthy in every sense.

Oil: I have used olive oil as I am making it healthy. You can also use any other neutral oils.

Parsley: Parsley adds aroma to the dish.

Coriander: I have garnished the dish with chopped coriander. You can skip it if it’s not available near you.

How to prepare Mushroom Stir Fry? :

Heat a pan or pot and add olive oil.

Once the oil is hot add the mushrooms and stir fry for 2 mins.

Then add the garlic powder and mix thoroughly until the raw aroma of the garlic is not gone.

Now add soy sauce and mix.

End by adding parsley, black pepper, and Himalayan pink salt.

Stir-fry the entire content on high heat for another 6-8 mins and keep stirring constantly unless it is dry.

Garnish with chopped coriander and lemon slices(optional).

Very simple and easy mushroom stir fried in unique spices.


  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 Lemon (cut in slices)
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 200 gm Mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Chopped coriander


  1. Heat a pan and add oil to it.
  2. Add the mushrooms and fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Add garlic powder and give a mix.
  4. Add soy sauce and mix.
  5. Add parsley, black pepper and Himalayan pink salt and mix.
  6. Stir-fry on high heat for another 6-8 minutes. Keep stirring constantly to prevent burning.
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander and lemon slices and serve.
