Shrimp Pepper Fry

Shrimp are not only delicious, but they are also excellent for you! They are one of the greatest seafood. I always choose prawns for lunch because they digest quickly. Prawn pepper fry can be served as an appetizer or as a side dish with chapati/rice. To keep the prawns soft, sauté them on medium heat. Prawns will become rubbery if overcooked. Hopefully, this recipe will take you to your kitchen.

What is Shrimp Pepper Fry?

Shrimp pepper fry is a spicy stir fry cooked with prawns or shrimp, black pepper, and curry leaves. This shrimp stir fry can be prepared in just 15 minutes and may be served as an appetizer or side dish.

These pepper prawns are cooked with fewer spices and no chilly powder; instead, the heat from the black pepper gives the dish its spicy and savory flavor. However, you may always alter the spice to your liking.

When compared to store-bought pepper powder, freshly ground pepper powder always adds a nice aroma and flavor to the recipe. This recipe makes an excellent side dish for rice or flatbreads.
