Mango Mustard Dip
I make a ton of dishes using mangoes because mango honestly has my heart. I can literally have mango for breakfast, lunch, and dinner straight without complaining. But nevertheless, out of the many dishes I have prepared, this one is somewhat unique. We have tried tons of dips throughout life, but trust me when I say you surely have not tried a dip like this. The mango and mustard together form a very unique combination that is absolutely out of the world.

Mango mustard dip is one such meal that is simple to make in the summer because we always have mangoes on hand. Serve this dip with cucumbers, carrots, radishes, or chips. I mostly serve it with home-baked pita chips.
Mango kasundi or aam kasundi is a Bengali sauce made with mango and mustard. But, in the case of kasundi, raw mango is utilized. On the other hand, we have utilized mature mangoes to make our dip. Though both sound similar in terms of taste, they are absolutely distinct.

Mango – Use the ripest mango in your pantry for this dip.
Mustard Powder – You will get mustard powder in any nearby grocery store. Put some water in the mustard powder to form a slurry-like texture.
Honey – Though the mango is itself very sweet, you don’t need additional sweetener. However, if your mango is not that sweet, to balance out the flavor, add in some honey.
Green Chili – One or two green chilis give a nice balance of sweet and spicy taste to the dip.
Mint leaves – Mint leaves are optional. But, the minty flavor enhances the overall taste of the dip.
Ginger – I have also added some chopped ginger to give an earthy taste to the dip.
Olive oil – Add some olive oil to smoothen out the dip.
How To Prepare Mango Mustard Dip?
Add all the ingredients mangoes, mustard paste, honey, green chile, mint leaves, sliced ginger, olive oil, and salt to a blending jar and blend them until a smooth paste is formed.
Pour it into a bowl, garnish with coriander leaves, and enjoy with the sliced vegetables of your choice.

Mango mustard Dip is very tasty recipe and it is very easy to prepare it. It is super delicious and it is a very flavorful recipe.
- 1 medium size – Mango diced
- 1 tbsp – Mustard paste/Mustard powder
- 1 tsp – Honey
- 1 – Green Chili
- ¼ cup – Mint leaves
- ½ tbsp – Ginger chopped
- 2 tbsp – Olive oil
- ½ tsp – Salt
- In a blender take diced mangoes, mustard paste, honey, green chili, mint leaves, chopped ginger, olive oil and salt. Blend them all together and make a smooth paste.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy with sliced vegetables of your choice. Enjoy.
if using mustard powder mix 3/4th tbsp mustard powder with a tsp of water and make a smooth paste.
This dip can be stored in the freezer for atleast 7 days.
