Palak Corn Sandwich is very tasty recipe and it is very easy to prepare it. It is super delicious and it is a very flavorful recipe.



  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 bunch palak/spinach (about 500 gms)
  • ½ cup corn kernels
  • 1 tsp dried oregano leaves
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • ½ cup finely chopped onions
  • 4 tbsp cheese spread/butter
  • ½ tsp chili flakes
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp butter


  1. Wash and clean the palak leaves and finely chop them.
  2. Heat a kadai add oil.
  3. Add finely chopped garlic and onions and saute on medium heat for a 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Now add finely chopped palak, corn kernels and salt.
  5. I have added only half teaspoon salt as palak has lots of natural salt in it. If you feel it is not enough then add more.
  6. Cover and cook the palak for 6 to 8 minutes.
  7. Add dried oregano and chili flakes and mix well.
  8. The palak will release a lot of water, let all the water dry up otherwise the sandwiches will turn out soggy.
  9. Once the water from the palak dries up, transfer it to a bowl and let it cool.
  10. Apply cheese spread/butter on the bread slices and spread the palak-corn mixture.
  11. Spread it evenly.
  12. Now heat a tawa/grill pan apply ghee or butter on it and place the sandwich flip to the other side when one side is done i.e. it is golden brown in colour.
  13. Remove it to a plate and cut it into half.
