Paneer kofta is very tasty recipe and it is very easy to prepare it. It is super delicious and it is a very flavorful recipe.

Ingredients
- 200 gms Paneer – grated
- 1 Potato – medium size boiled and skinned
- 2 tsp Corn flour
- 2 Tomato – medium size roughly chopped
- 1 Onion – medium size roughly chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic – finely chopped
- 2 Green chili – finely chopped
- 1 inch cinnamon
- 2 cardamom
- 4 cloves
- 1 tsp Till/Sesame seeds
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala powder (I have used Everest Garam masala)
- 1½ tsp Salt (1/2 tsp for the kofta and 1 tsp while making the gravy for the koftas)
- Oil for frying the koftas
Instructions
- Let us first prepare the koftas.
- In a bowl take grated paneer, add potatoes, corn flour, green chili and salt.
- Mash them all very well and form a smooth dough.
- Divide them equally into equal portions and make small koftas.
- Keep them aside.
- Now heat oil in a kadai and fry the koftas till golden brown in colour.
- Now let us prepare the gravy.
- In a mixer jar add onions, tomatoes, ginger-garlic and sesame seeds and blend them.
- Make a smooth paste.
- Now in the same kadai in which we fried the koftas let us prepare the gravy.
- Add the whole garam masala and the onion tomato puree.
- Add the remaining salt along with turmeric powder, chili powder and garam masala powder.
- Saute for 4 to 5 minutes or till the oil separates out from the masala.
- Add 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil, let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Now add the koftas and boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Garnish with some fresh coriander and serve with rice, roti or naan.
